Teams & Workspaces
Collaborate with your team using shared link libraries, role-based access control, and team workspaces.
Overview
Teams let you share links, collaborate on campaigns, and control who can create, edit, or view links — all in a single workspace. Every link created inside a team is visible to all team members, making it easy to keep your whole organisation aligned.

Creating a Team
- 1
Go to Teams
In your dashboard at app.webb.in/teams, click + New Team.
- 2
Name Your Team
Give your team a clear name — e.g. "Marketing", "Growth", or "Partnerships". You can rename it any time.
- 3
Add Members
Enter a colleague's Webb.in username and select their role: Admin, Member, or Viewer. They must already have a Webb.in account.
Shared Link Library
Links created inside a team workspace are visible to all team members, regardless of who created them. This gives your whole team a single shared library of short links.
- 1
Open a Team
Select a team from the left panel in app.webb.in/teams.
- 2
View Shared Links
The Links tab shows all URLs scoped to this team — created by any member — in reverse-chronological order.
- 3
Add a Team Link
Click + Add Link in the team Links tab. The new link is automatically scoped to the team and appears for all members.
Managing Members
Add a Member
Enter the user's Webb.in username in Add Member, set their role, and click Add. They gain access immediately.
Change a Role
Click the role badge next to a member's name and select a new role from the dropdown. Changes take effect immediately.
Remove a Member
Click the ✕ button next to a member's name and confirm. Only the Owner or an Admin can remove members.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can a user be in multiple teams?
Yes. A user can be a member of as many teams as needed, each with a different role.
Do team links count toward my personal link quota?
Team links count against the team owner's quota, not the creating member's quota.
Can a Viewer create links?
No. Viewers can only browse the shared link library. To create links they need the Member, Admin, or Owner role.
What happens when the team owner cancels their plan?
The team enters a read-only state. Members can still view existing links but cannot create new ones until the owner upgrades again.
